What documents are needed to sign an occasional lease

For an occasional lease to be legally valid, signing the agreement is not enough – a specific set of documents is required from both sides.
What the landlord prepares
The owner confirms their title to the flat (with a land register excerpt or purchase deed) and draws up a condition report at the moment the keys are handed over – useful later when the flat is returned.
What the tenant prepares
The key document on the tenant's side is the notarised statement agreeing to voluntary eviction, together with the written consent of the backup flat's owner to accept the tenant if the agreement is terminated.
The final set of documents:
- A written lease agreement for a fixed term of no more than ten years
- The notarial deed with the tenant's submission to enforcement
- Designation of a replacement property and its owner's consent to accept the tenant
- A handover report of the flat with meter readings
We handle the third document – the replacement-property owner declaration: ready in one business day, sent to you for approval as a scan, and delivered free of charge across Poland.
